Science Olympiad
Science Olympiad is a science based competition that we participate in yearly. The state competition takes place in Bozeman Montana in late November, but this is not where the work begins. Each year there certain events that are selected that our students will compete in. The events are either test based or building based. We build our team in September and set work and study days for each event. Most events are led by one teacher who helps mentor them. This is a great time and we hope to make it to nationals in the near future.

This is a hard competition, but a lot of fun.

Each year, approximately 10,000 students take a 40-question, 45-minute timed, multiple-choice test under their school’s supervision. The 2018 exam will be given between March 28 and April 13, 2018. Exam questions are based on topics and concepts covered in a typical high school physics course.
USA Biology Olympiad
As the premiere biology competition for high school students in the United States, the USA Biology Olympiad (USABO) enriches the life science education of nearly 10,000 talented students annually. It provides the motivation, curricular resources, and skills training to take them beyond their classroom experience to the level of international competitiveness.
